To help us plan your perfect event, please be ready to share key details about your vision. This helps us ensure every detail is covered. Consider the following:

Here is a summary of the key features and services available to help you plan your event.

Capacity and layout:

  • Seating: 5,876 total seats (4,788 fixed, 928 portable).

  • Rooms: 7 standard dressing rooms, 1 deluxe dressing room, 1 weight room, 1 trainer's room, and 2 offices.

  • Floor load: 200 lbs. per square foot.

  • Entrances: 2 main entrances, 4 exit doors, and a 12' x 14' loading door for arena floor access.

Technical and production:

  • Score clock: Four-sided digital score clock with video display (OES).

  • Lighting: Metal Halide fixtures (175' foot-candles on arena floor) with dimmable house lights.

  • Electrical: Multiple high-capacity power sources (800 Amp and 400 Amp 3-phase systems) and 110V/208V power throughout.

  • Press Boxes: 2 press boxes with 4 camera platforms, capacity for 36 broadcasters, and a full catwalk 43' above the floor.

Amenities and services:

  • Accessibility: Fully wheelchair accessible with passenger elevators at both ends.

  • Climate control: Fully air-conditioned facility.

  • Box office: Located on the main concourse; ticketing can be arranged.

  • Concessions and facilities: 6 concession booths, public telephones, restrooms on all levels, and a first aid room.

  • Parking: Free on-site parking for 600 vehicles, with additional parking nearby.

To ensure your setup runs smoothly, please inform us of any special access needs (for decorating or moving equipment) when planning your event. We coordinate timing carefully, especially for large events requiring extensive preparation, to provide ample time for every client.

Your event may require additional services or personnel, which are sometimes mandatory per our facility regulations. Please consider if you will need:

  • Catering (Contact our Events Coordinator at 613-930-2787 ext. 2543 for a list of registered caterers)

  • Security personnel

  • Maintenance personnel

  • Box office support

  • Specialized electrical/mechanical support

Decor policy

Please share these guidelines with anyone decorating for your event. Access to the banquet room for decorating is provided on the morning of your event. For earlier access, please contact our Events Coordinator at 613-930-2787 ext. 2543 to discuss availability. We also ask that you share your setup plans with us in advance.

Please share your detailed setup plans with us in advance, especially for custom sets or trade shows. This allows us to ensure your layout meets all fire codes and prevents last-minute issues. Key safety rules include:

  • Do not block any fire pull stations, hose cabinets, doorways or exits

  • Keep all hallways clear, maintaining an 8-foot walkway

  • We can help you create a compliant custom floor plan

Available equipment and rentals

We have a limited inventory of standard event equipment (tables, chairs, screens, etc.). To guarantee availability, please submit your requests well in advance.

 

Important notes:

  • We do not have an LCD projector on site; clients must rent one

  • Table quantities may vary year-to-year due to wear and loss

  • We have very few linens/table skirting (Orders require at least one week's notice as our supplier is not local)

After your event

Please take all decorations and rented items with you when you leave. We are not liable for any items left behind as rooms must be cleared for the next day's events.

To protect our facility, please do not use:

  • Nails, screws, hooks, push pins, staples, or tape of any kind on walls, ceilings, or tables

  • Any adhesive on wallpaper

  • Confetti, rice, paper, or popcorn

  • Natural materials like straw, hay, pine boughs, leaves, or tree branches

Balloons and helium tanks:

  • Any helium tank must be secured upright on a dolly for safety; unsecured tanks are not permitted

  • Individual balloons on strings may not be given away inside the Complex or Arena.

  • Please bring your own supplies (string, ribbon, scissors)

 

Candles and open flames:

  • Candles are permitted only if enclosed in hurricane lamps

  • Place a drip-catch underneath all candles

  • Open flame candles are strictly prohibited per fire code

Any damage and or injury caused by decorating will be the responsibility of the applicant and/or the decorator.  Any mess made during the decorating must be cleaned up by the applicant and/or decorator before the event begins.

 

The applicant hereby agrees to indemnify and forever hold harmless the City of Cornwall, its officers, employees, contractors, agents and volunteers from and against any and all claims, actions, damages, liabilities, demands, suits, costs, and expenses including legal fees in connection with loss of life, bodily injury or loss or damage to the facility (property of the City), the applicant or others arising from or out of any occurrence arising from the sole negligence or misconduct of the applicant, its employees, agents, contractors, officers or those for whom it is in law responsible on or about the facility in respect of the occupancy or use of the facility by the applicant or occasioned wholly or in part by any act or omission of the applicant, its employees, agents, contractors, officers, artists or those for whom it is in law responsible on or about the facility in respect of the occupancy or use of the facility by the applicants, its officers, employees, agents, the artists, or other applicants or any other person hired by the applicant that are present or working at the event.
