Event services

Promoters and event organizers have access to additional services, as outlined below (prices exclude HST). Please note that:

Setup and teardown: Costs are based on your technical requirements. You will receive an estimate before signing your contract, covering items like flooring over the ice, stage setup, power, water, and labor. You will only be charged for the actual final costs.
Labour: You are welcome to hire your own qualified stagehands and riggers.
Sound and lighting equipment: Any required performance sound or lighting gear is an additional cost.

Ticket service

Our facility uses the Ticketpro online ticketing system. The Cornwall Civic Complex Box Office adds a $1.50 service charge to the price of each ticket. Tickets purchased through other Ticketpro channels (online or by phone) are subject to an additional service fee from Ticketpro, which may change without notice. There is custom ticket design available for a flat fee of $350.00.

Box office

We provide box office staff to work outside of our regular business hours. This service package starts at a base fee of $600.00 plus HST. All credit card and Interac processing fees, charged at a rate of 2.76%, will be billed back to you as the event promoter. There is also a ticket printing fee of $0.31 per ticket plus HST.

Advertising

You are responsible for all event advertising. We will support your promotion by:

Displaying event posters in both municipal arenas
Featuring the event on the City's official social media channels at no cost to you

Catering

First Aid

Ensure the safety and well-being of your guests with professional on-site first aid coverage for your Cornwall event. Our recommended provider, Stormont First Aid, offers reliable service with packages starting at $350.00 plus HST. Book certified personnel to be prepared for any situation at your festival, sporting event or community gathering.

Security

Ensure a safe and secure environment for your event with contracted security services. Professional security guards are available for hire at a rate of $36.68 per hour plus HST (2024 rate). Guards are typically booked to arrive one hour before your event starts and remain for a half-hour after it ends, or until all guests have left the venue.
