Bulky Item Collection

On the first Wednesday of every month, you can book the City of Cornwall’s contractor, HGC, to collect large bulky items.

Please book your bulky item collection and you can pay online. You’ll get an automated email confirming your purchase. After you’ve booked your item, HGC will pick it up between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. If you would like to make changes to your bulky item pickup, please call us at 613-937-1777. No refunds are provided.

Please note

You cannot schedule a collection within 48 hours of the pickup date. Make sure to place your item at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on collection day. HGC does not collect items from driveways, porches, garages or backyards.

Accepted items

Explore the accepted items that the City’s contractor will collect. If an item is not listed, it may be:

• Considered electronic or household hazardous waste and you should drop it off at the depot

• Accepted as part of your regular curbside collection

• Missed and should be added to the list
