Inspections

Building inspections help to ensure that your project meets provincial laws, zoning requirements and safety standards in the City of Cornwall. We must inspect each major phase of your project. This ensures the work meets the Ontario Building Code, your building permit details and the approved plans.

Scheduling an inspection

To book your inspection, please email us or call 613-930-2787 at least 48 hours in advance of your inspection. Your building permit lists all the mandatory inspections. Please note that you are responsible for scheduling them.
