Requests for Proclamations, Flags and Lights

You can request a proclamation, flag raising or special light display. This is an official way to publicly recognize an initiative or observance. The mayor signs and issues proclamations to honour individuals, charitable campaigns, non-profit organizations or cultural events. You can also request a special flag, a mayoral proclamation or an illuminated City landmark. These ceremonial acts promote awareness, celebrate community milestones and foster inclusion and community spirit.
