Asset Management
Asset management is the planning and coordinating needed to manage the City of Cornwall's assets in a sustainable way. The goal is to provide a high level of service while managing risk at the lowest possible cost.
As a resident, you rely on the City's infrastructure every day, including roads, bridges, sewers and watermains. These assets should work as intended and meet or exceed established levels of service. Proper maintenance ensures that high costs and problems are not passed on to future residents. You can view our Asset Management Policy for more information.
Asset Management Plan
As part of our asset management, the City of Cornwall has issued the 2025 Asset Management Plan for Core Infrastructure Assets (AMP) to align with O. Reg. 588/17. The AMP provides a plan to responsibly manage the diverse portfolio of city assets, such as roads, water, public facilities, housing and parks, with a total value of $3.78 billion.
