Municipal Grants Program
To support the efforts of our community and volunteer groups, the City offers funding each year through the Municipal Grants Program. Funding comes from the annual operating budget and is available through an application process.
Apply to the Municipal Grants Program
You can apply online once the application period opens on October 1. It closes on the last Friday of October. No late applications will be accepted, and the online form will not be available after that date. Before receiving any municipal funds, your organization must sign a Letter of Agreement, which outlines the terms and conditions of the grant.
The Municipal Grants Program includes two types of support.
Financial and In-Kind Assistance
The Financial and In-Kind Assistance program provides cash grants and in-kind contributions for initiatives that promote inclusiveness and benefit the wider community. Your organization can apply for up to $10,000 per year (cash, in-kind or a combination of both).
Community Partnership
Community Partnership: provides partnerships between community groups and the City of Cornwall for capital projects.
