Pay a Ticket
A parking ticket is a fine issued when a vehicle is parked in violation of City by-laws. If you receive a parking ticket in Cornwall, you have several ways to pay it. Please note that if you pay by credit card in person or online, a surcharge will apply.
Pay in person at City offices
You can pay your parking ticket in person at the Building and By-Law Enforcement Department office. The office is on the second floor of the Cornwall Civic Complex at 100 Water St E. It is open during regular business hours.
Use a drop box
There are three yellow deposit boxes where you can drop your parking ticket payment. The boxes are located at:

340 Pitt St – Cornwall Community Police Service headquarters

100 Water St E – Civic Complex, west side of the front entrance at the bottom of the stairs

342 Montreal Rd – in front of the parking lot

Plate denial for unpaid tickets
Plate denial is a way for the City to collect unpaid parking tickets. Provincial rules allow municipalities to ask the Ministry of Transportation not to issue a licence plate to anyone with outstanding parking fines. If that happens, a $25.00 fee is added to each unpaid ticket, on top of the original fines and fees.
