War Veteran Passes
If you’re a Canadian or allied veteran who lives in the City of Cornwall, you can apply for a War Veteran Transit Pass. Cornwall Transit and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 297 in Cornwall offer a free lifetime bus pass if you’ve taken part in active service during:

The Korean War
-
Afghanistan War
-
Vietnam War
-
Other areas of conflict
This program is a gesture of respect and acknowledgement of the personal sacrifice made by veterans to our community and country.
Apply for a War Veterans Transit Pass
Please pick up a War Veterans Transit Pass Program application form from the Legion. Make sure to include a photocopy of your Certificate of Service and/or Discharge Papers.
You can fax your application to 613-933-1122 or deliver it to:

We'll process your application within 30 days and let you know if you qualify. If approved, we'll invite you to our Transit office at 863 Second St W to take your photo and receive your pass. Please note that this pass is for your use only and will be revoked if used by another person.
Lost passes
If you lose a War Veteran transit pass, please contact Cornwall Transit at 613-930-2636 and after we verify, we will replace your lost pass for free.
