Adopt a Street

You can join the volunteer Adopt-a-Street program as an individual or as a group. Show your civic pride by helping keep our streets, parks and waterfront litter-free.

How it works:

• You can commit to cleaning a public area at least once a month from April 1st to October 1st

• The program is flexible and you can choose your location and schedule

• We provide all supplies: litter pickers, gloves, safety vests and bags

To get started, you will need to sign a volunteer waiver. If you decide to stop participating, please return your supplies to the Library. Volunteers typically carry out clean-ups during the spring, summer and fall months, but you are welcome to participate for as long as you wish.
