Parking Permits

These permits offer 24-hour parking in locations across the City. Permits cost:

• $57.13 for two weeks
• $91.42 for one month
• $228.52 for three months
• $399.92 for six months
• $742.72 for one year

We sell permits on a first-come, first-served basis. You can only renew your permit one week before it expires, and only if a space is available. Each permit is valid for one licence plate only. After a major snow event, you must remove your vehicle from the lot from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for snow clearing.

A day-use permit allows you to park from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. in designated areas. They cost:

• $34.27 for two weeks
• $57.13 for one month
• $159.95 for three months
• $308.51 for six months
• $742.72 for one year

Day-use permits are associated with licence plate numbers and are not transferable from person to person. You can register up to two different plates from the same household on a single permit. Both cars cannot use the same permit at the same time.

If permits are unavailable, you can join a wait list. Please note that:

• You must join the wait list only once
• You must place your name on only one wait list
• Your first selection is the only one considered; duplicate requests will be removed
• Once notified a permit is ready, you must purchase it within 48 hours, or you will be removed from the list
