Parking Permits
Explore available parking permits for overnight and 24-hour parking in the City of Cornwall. When you buy a permit for the first time, you will need to create an online account. Once registered, you can update your account information yourself at any time.
Permit rules:

Permits are not transferable between people or parking lots

You have a one-week window to choose your permit's start date at the time of purchase

No adjustments can be made to the permit date after purchase

Refunds for day-use or 24-hour permits are pro-rated and subject to a $35.00 plus HST administrative fee
24-hour parking permits
These permits offer 24-hour parking in locations across the City. Permits cost:

We sell permits on a first-come, first-served basis. You can only renew your permit one week before it expires, and only if a space is available. Each permit is valid for one licence plate only. After a major snow event, you must remove your vehicle from the lot from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for snow clearing.
Day-use parking permits
A day-use permit allows you to park from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. in designated areas. They cost:

Day-use permits are associated with licence plate numbers and are not transferable from person to person. You can register up to two different plates from the same household on a single permit. Both cars cannot use the same permit at the same time.
Wait list
If permits are unavailable, you can join a wait list. Please note that:

You must join the wait list only once

You must place your name on only one wait list

Your first selection is the only one considered; duplicate requests will be removed

Once notified a permit is ready, you must purchase it within 48 hours, or you will be removed from the list
