Council Recap: January 26, 2026 Tourism-Oriented Signage for Highway 401 On January 26, Council was notified that new Area Profile Signs will soon be installed along Highway 401 at Cornwall’s eastern and western city limits. These tourism-focused signs result from a collaboration between the Ministry of Transportation and the Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism, and Culture Industries.

City of Cornwall’s Overnight Warming Centre Now Open 7 Days a Week The City of Cornwall is announcing that its Overnight Warming Centre is now open to the public seven days a week, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, effective immediately. The Centre will operate nightly, regardless of temperature, until March 31, 2026.
