Watermain Repair – Ninth Street East Bound Road Closure (February 15)

The City of Cornwall’s Waterworks Department will be undertaking emergency repairs to a watermain failure at the intersection of Ninth Street East and Marlborough Street on Sunday, February 15, beginning at 7:30 a.m.

To safely complete the repair, a full eastbound lane closure will be in effect on Ninth Street East from Sydney Street to Marlborough Street. A lane reduction is not possible due to the center median at Marlborough Street. The westbound lane will remain open to traffic.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible and use alternate routes while repairs are underway. Access to the area may be delayed, and traffic control measures will be in place.
