Open House: Proposed Bridge Housing Initiative

The City of Cornwall will be holding an Open House for the proposed Bridge Housing Development on Wednesday, January 14, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Knox-St. Paul’s United Church (800 Twelfth Street East, Cornwall).

The proposed Bridge Housing initiative aims to provide temporary, secure shelter and essential services for individuals experiencing homelessness. The proposed development includes 30 modular sleep cabins designed for privacy and safety, a community center for support services, and a dedicated washroom facility. The proposed site will also feature professional security, wellness checks, and support provided by social workers.
