The purpose of the meeting is to consider an application for a Zoning By-law Amendment for the lands affected. In accordance with the Planning Act, the meeting will serve as an opportunity for the public to make representations in respect of the proposed amendment and to obtain further information about the application.

LANDS AFFECTED: The subject properties are legally described as Part Lot 7 Concession 1, located at 217 and 219 Baldwin Avenue. The subject area for the proposed rezoning is the rectangular portion located between 211 Baldwin Avenue and 614 Second Street East (indicated in the hatched orange area in the key map below).

KEY MAP

ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENT (Z-07-26)

In 2024, the subject area associated with 217, and 219 Baldwin Avenue was granted provisional consent approval for a lot addition, permitting the transfer of that portion of 217 and 219 Baldwin Avenue to 614 Second Street East. The area proposed for transfer is currently zoned Residential 10 (RES 10) and is proposed to be rezoned to Special Uses (SPU) to ensure consistency with the existing zoning designation of 614 Second Street East.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment.

Written comments from the public are requested by September 14, 2026, for consideration ahead of the meeting.
