NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING Z-05-26
PURPOSE OF THE MEETING:
The City of Cornwall’s Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) will hold a public meeting on September 21st, 2026, at 7 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to consider an application for a Zoning By-law Amendment for the lands affected. In accordance with the Planning Act, the meeting will serve as an opportunity for the public to make representations in respect of the proposed amendments and to obtain further information about the application.
LANDS AFFECTED: The subject properties are legally described as Part of Lot 4 & Part of E½ Lot 5 Concession 1. These lands are part of the previously approved Belfort Estates Draft Plan of Subdivision.

ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENT (Z-05-26)
The purpose of the amendment is to establish a site-specific RES 30-X (H) zone with a hold on block 12 to prohibit development of this block until clearance has been provided in writing from MECP, to rezone the reconfigured townhouse and semi-detached lots, and the reconfigured open space and apartment blocks to permit the proposed revision to the current approved Draft Plan of Subdivision for Belfort Estates.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment.
Written comments from the public are requested by September 14, 2026, for consideration ahead of the meeting.
