NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING COMMITTEE OF ADJUSTMENT CITY OF CORNWALL APPLICATION FOR MINOR VARIANCE – FILE # A-33-26

Take notice that an application under the above file number will be heard by the Committee of Adjustment on Wednesday, November 18th, 2026, at 05:00 p.m. at Council Chambers at City Hall, 360 Pitt Street, Cornwall, Ontario K6J 4P6.

The purpose of the meeting is to consider an application for a Minor Variance from the provisions of the City of Cornwall Zoning By-law 2022-001 as amended, for the lands legally described as Lot 37, Plan 187, municipally known as 300 Gardner Avenue.

The requested minor variance is seeking relief for a driveway expansion to accommodate 3 vehicles to an existing driveway fronting onto Walton Street. The proposal addresses additional parking requirements for the added dwelling units to the property. There will be no modification to city owned property such as curbs or sidewalks with the proposed minor variance.
