NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING COMMITTEE OF ADJUSTMENT CITY OF CORNWALL APPLICATION FOR CONSENT – FILE # B-13-26

Take notice that an application under the above file number will be heard by the Committee of Adjustment on Wednesday, November 18th, 2026, at 05:00 p.m. at Council Chambers at City Hall, 360 Pitt Street, Cornwall, Ontario K6J 4P6.

The purpose of the meeting is to consider a consent application for the creation of one new lot for the lands legally described as Part Lot 43, Plan 17; Part 1 on Reference Plan 52R-2891, municipally known as 20 Elm Street.

The consent will facilitate

the development of a quadruplex on each proposed parcel. The severed lands are proposed to be approximately 479 m2 with 19.54 m of frontage on Elm Street. The retained lands are proposed to be approximately 463 m2 with 19.54 m of frontage on First Street West. The effect of the proposed consent will be one quadruplex dwelling on each resulting lot.

This application has been submitted concurrently with an application (A-32-26) for minor variances to allow for relief on setbacks, lot occupancies, landscaped areas, amenity areas associated with both the quadruplex dwellings.
