NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING COMMITTEE OF ADJUSTMENT CITY OF CORNWALL APPLICATION FOR CONSENT – FILE # B-07-26

Take notice that an application under the above file number will be heard by the Committee of Adjustment on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026, at 05:00 p.m. at Council Chambers at City Hall, 360 Pitt Street, Cornwall, Ontario K6J 4P6. 

The purpose of the meeting is to consider a consent application for the creation of for the creation of an easement for stormwater management and drainage to facilitate the development of two eight-unit apartment buildings on lands legally described as Part Lot 7, Cornwall Concession 1; Part 1 on Reference Plan 52R-8420, municipally known as 501 Tenth Street East.  

The proposed easement will be established over the adjacent properties to the east of the subject lands. The adjacent properties can be legally described as Parts 2, 3, and 4 on Reference Plan 52R-8420. An application for minor variances (A-22-26) has also been submitted for the subject lands to allow for reduced amenity areas, the location of parking in the front yard, as well as the Right-of-Way setback for the future phase of the development, specifically the northern apartment building (closer to Tenth Street East).
