Family Day 2024 — what's open and what's closed

Monday, February 19 is Family Day and as such, changes to the services offered by the City will occur.

Municipal offices will be closed for the day.

Garbage and recycling collection will be delayed by a day. So, if your collection is typically on a Monday, it will be on Tuesday this week, and so on and so forth. The landfill will also be closed on February 19. You can find the 2024 waste calendar by visiting www.Cornwall.ca/waste.

Cornwall Transit will not be operating on Family Day, and transit offices will be closed.

Big Ben Ski Centre will be open for face painting, games and smores!

The Aquatic Centre will be open for free leisure swims — sponsored by the Kinsmen Club of Cornwall — from 1:00 p.m. to 1:55 p.m. (175 max) and from 2:00 p.m. to 2:55 p.m. (175 max).

A regular leisure swim will also take place from 7:05 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The Cornwall Public Library will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
