City of Cornwall Introduces New Measures to Enhance Road Safety at Key Intersections

The City of Cornwall, in an effort to calm traffic in school zones, increase public safety and create safer intersections are completing the following shortly:

• All-Way Stop control at the intersection of Surgenor St. and Joyce St.
• All-Way Stop control at the intersection of Queen St. and Robertson Av. including Red Solar Flashers
• All-Way Stop control at the intersection of Walton St. and St. Felix St. including Red Solar Flashers
• Red Solar Flashers at the intersection of Eleventh St. and Cumberland Av.
• Permanent Speed Radar Boards on Water St. W. in the Lamoureux Park area

Drivers and pedestrians are advised to exercise caution as all road users adapt to the newly installed stop signs.
