City of Cornwall adopts its 2024 Water and Wastewater budget. During its December 4, 2023, meeting, Cornwall City Council adopted the 2024 Water and Wastewater budget and with it, a combined budgetary increase of 11.66% — or $2,405,747 — increase to the 2023 Water and Wastewater budget.

Circle of Lights City of Cornwall staff members from Parks and Landscape, with the help of the Municipal Works, Cornwall Fire Service and Bergeron Electric, recently installed over 12,000 feet of lights this year. This includes the Circle of Light, located at the traffic circle on Brookdale Avenue.

City of Cornwall unveils Winter Housing Plan The City of Cornwall has leased the former Parisien Manor to provide housing residents living in encampments and/or on the homelessness waitlist (By-Name List) during the winter months. “The establishment of our winter plan initiative at Parisien Manor represents months of behind-the-scenes work focused on the establishment of a safe and secure location for the most vulnerable in our community”, said Mayor Justin Towndale.
