Outdoor Pools
Enjoy a cool pool on hot days! The City of Cornwall operates five outdoor pools in July and August. All pools have five lanes measuring 25 metres with an attached wading pool. Pools will be open for public swims beginning June 25, 2022. Swimmers will be limited to 75 in the large pool and 25 in the wading pool.

Please Note:
Terry Fox pool will open Tuesday June 28. Mattice Pool will be open Sunday June 25.
July 1 schedule 10 am - 12:30 pm Swimming Lessons & 1 - 4 pm Public Swim.
All public swimming dependent on weather.
Here's how you can safely use outdoor pools this summer:
- Swimmers must shower before entering the pool.
- Residents who are sick must stay home and not use public facilities.
- Admission policies (click here) must be followed.
Outdoor Swimming Lessons
Swim lessons will operate at all five outdoor pools from 10 am - 12:30 pm during the following sessions:
Session 1 June 28 - July 8 Session 2 July 11 - 22 Session 3 July 25 - August 5 Session 4 August 8 - 19

Splash Pads - OPEN - May 13, 2022
Cool off on a hot summer day! These free-standing facilities are great for children of all ages and feature a variety of fun water spray elements.
Splash Pad at Lamoureux Park
The Lamoureux Park splash pad is located between the children's play structure and the Cornwall Community Museum. Along with the splash pad, there is a washroom facility and concession stand.
Lamoureux Park is located along Water Street in Downtown Cornwall.
Splash Pad at St. Theresa Park
Come explore our playful pirate-themed splash pad at St. Theresa Park! The splash pad is also equipped with a washroom facility.
St. Theresa Park is located at the corner of Thirteenth Street and Churchill Street.
Splash Pad at Riverdale Park
Check out our nautical-themed splash pad at Riverdale Park! Washrooms are available on site.
Riverdale Park is located at Dover Street and Riverdale Avenue.
