How to create your new account:

Step 2

  • Complete all fields with current information. The primary owner must register first. Family members can be added once your account has been activated.

  • Once all fields are complete, click the 'Submit' button
  • An email will be sent to the email address provided with your username and temporary password

  • After clicking the 'Submit' button, you'll be taken to your new online account
  • Click on the 'Manage Login' button at the top of the screen and then enter a new password
  • Passwords must include the following: 8 characters long, 1 upper case letter, 1 lower case letter, 1 number

 Why is the Recreation Department switching to a new recreation system?
Our previous software is 20 years old and is no longer supported by its vendor, so it is being retired. The new software provides improved functionality and is easier to navigate. Users can create an account and access programs, parks, memberships, passes, and bookings for multiple facilities all in the same account. 
 When can I log into the new recreation system?
The new system is up and running.  You can create your account today! Visit to start the process. Aquatic Centre / Benson Centre Memberships and accounts are active now.  Program registration begins October 5, 2020.
 How do I set up a new recreation account?
In your web browser (preferably Google Chrome or Firefox), visit  The process is simple and only takes a few minutes. Once all the fields have been completed, click the “Submit” button at the bottom. A new temporary password will be sent to your email address.  You can also add a default payment method to your account.  
 Is my new recreation account active right away?
Yes, you no longer have to wait for your new account to be activated.  You can even create all of the additional family members you want on your account.  Remember, family should only include those who are related and living at the same address.
 Why doesn’t my partner see all the family members when they log into the recreation system? 
Each account can only have one client designated as the “primary” client.  The primary client is the only one who can register and change the information for others on their account. 
 I have an existing membership or pass in the old recreation system, what happens now? 
You can create your new account online, then visit the Aquatic Centre or Benson Centre reception to have your new picture taken and then receive your new membership card. Or we can create your new account for you.  
 I created my recreation account, but forgot my password. What do I do? 
If you have misplaced your password, use the “Forgot Password” link on the login page, and instructions will be sent to the email address on your account. 
 Do I need to have a recreation account to search for memberships, programs or facility availability? 
No. You can still search and view the information at  However, if you would like to register for a program, purchase a membership, or reserve a facility online you need to have an online account.
 I don’t want to register online for a recreation account. Can I register in person? 
Yes, you can still register for recreation services in person or over the phone by calling the Aquatic or Benson Centre.
 Which payment methods are accepted for recreation account signup?

Online, we accept MasterCard or VISA.

In person, we accept cash, MasterCard, VISA, or Debit (as well as Recreation Gift Cards or Organization Cheques) - please visit the Aquatic Centre or Benson Centre during regular business hours. 

There is no exchange rate for US cash.  American Express is not accepted.  

 What features does my recreation account offer? 

Here are some of the things you can do with your REC4ALL account:

  • Save MasterCard or VISA information on your account for future purchases, through our secure and encrypted payment service.
  • View transaction history, and reprint receipts.
  • View current account credits, or balances owing.
  • Manage your personal information including name, address, phone number, email address.
  • Create and link members of your family under one account.
  • View family schedules and stay on top of when who needs to be where for what program.

What else can I do?

  • View, search, and find information on programs and services.
  • Register and pay for courses in one easy transaction.
  • See available times for bookings in City facilities and parks.
  • Request rentals and bookings at certain facilities and outdoor spaces.
 What can’t I do?

There is always background work that needs to be completed by staff, so there are a few things you will not be able to do, including:


Withdraw from a course

We often have people on waitlists that need to be contacted as quickly as possible to fill any open spots in the program. There are also withdrawal and other administrative fees that may be applicable if you withdraw from a course. Let us know if you need to withdraw, and we’ll take care of it for you.


Remove someone from your account

There is a lot of behind the scenes work required to completely remove someone from your account and we want to make sure it is done properly. Just let us know you want to remove someone from your account, and we’ll do the rest.


Upload your own photo for your membership card

You will have to visit us at the Aquatic Centre or Benson Centre to get your photo taken and pick up your membership card or passes.

 How can I verify/see what recreation programs my family members are currently registered in?
Your account allows you to add family members and manage their programs all within one account. It’s a great feature!
 How do I register for a recreation program?
You have the choice of three ways to register for a program: 
  1. Online at (Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with no convenience fees!)
  2. By phone at the Aquatic Centre 613-933-3586 or Benson Centre 613-938-9898.
  3. In person at the Aquatic Centre or Benson Centre.
