Guindon Park is Cornwall's hidden gem - a sprawling 500-acre smoke-free park with access to Cornwall's off-road bike trails and the St. Lawrence River, and dozens of kilometres of walking trails, this natural green space is not to be missed! Access the park via Highway 2. Washrooms are open during the day.

Things to Do in Guindon Park

  1. In the summer, walk along hiking trails.
  2. In the winter, cross-country ski, snowshoe or walk through the forest. Click here for the Trail Map.
  3. Pack a lunch to enjoy the picnic areas.
  4. Stop by the playground to run, slide, and play.
  5. Cycle along the bike path.
  6. Launch your boat into the St. Lawrence River.

  8. Go horseback riding: Summer trails are also accessible for equestrian riding from May 1 to October 31, weather permitting. Area horseback riders are required to purchase seasonal or daily trail passes at the Benson Centre during regular business hours.
  9. Pick up free mulch from the parking lot in the east corner of the park.
  10. Cornwall BMX Track: The new facility off Floral Drive in Guindon Park is run by the Cornwall BMX Club. Click here for more information about the Cornwall BMX Club.

Winter Wonderland

Drive to the western boundary of the City of Cornwall for a forested winter oasis, with trails for every interest:

  • snowshoeing,
  • cross-country skiing,
  • fat biking, and
  • walking.

Please use designated trails - respect groomed tracks for cross-country skiing!

Washrooms are located at the end of Floral Drive and are open daily from 8:30am – 5:00pm (weather permitting). A porta potty has also been installed at the east parking lot for the convenience of trail users. Washrooms are maintained and cleaned regularly however, if you have any concerns please contact 613-932-5354.

Parking is free and plentiful!
