Cornwall Transit riders can now create a customer profile on the UseTransit website and load/ pay for their fare products online!
UseTransit allows riders to use a contactless smartcard to pay for their fare before boarding the bus. Just tap the card reader with your smartcard and you’re ready to ride!
Purchasing your monthly passes, 10-ride card and family passes has never been so easy! Reload your smartcard with products straight from your smartphone in the comfort of your own home or on the go from anywhere! (Cash fare still accepted on bus)
Through your customer profile you can also view your transit usage history and download fare purchase receipts whenever needed.

To sign up you will need to complete a registration form on the UseTransit website. To do so, you will need to provide your name, email address and telephone number. After completing the form, you will receive an email from UseTransit, which will contain a link that you need to click to complete your registration. You will then need to set a password for your account and accept the Terms and Conditions. After that, you can login and begin to make your first purchases! |

Adding payment methods to your UseTransit account: |

UseTransit offers several different ways to reload your contactless smartcard. These include Mastercard, Visa. To add a payment card to your account, simply press the "add payment card" icon on the webpage. You will then be prompted to fill out your information. |

How do I add a new or existing contactless smartcard to your UseTransit account: |
|
To add a new contactless card to your account, simply click on the “+” icon in your UseTransit account and then select the type of transit account you'd like to add. Then, assign a nickname to the new transit account, select a fare product to purchase and then accept the terms and conditions. You will then have to select the delivery method for the new account as well as a payment method for the purchase. |

Setting up auto reload |

Automatic reloads are available to contactless smart cards that are linked to a UseTransit account. This convenient feature allows for you to, among other things: Auto reload 10 rides when your smartcard ride balance falls below 3 Auto reload a one month pass when your monthly pass is about to expire. To enable auto reload, select the transit smartcard in your account, click the “settings” icon and then the “Auto Reload” icon. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your preferences and then click save. |
