Cornwall residents can travel by foot, bike, car, bus, train, and plane. The City is served by Highway 401, Highway 138, and Highway 2. Train service is provided by Via Rail, and out-of-town travel by bus is available through Megabus and Greyhound. Public transit is provided by Cornwall Transit.
Southern travel to Akwesasne and New York State is possible through the border crossing in Cornwall via the Seaway International Bridge. To learn about border disruptions and requirements, visit the Canada Border Services Agency's website.
Water travel also takes place along Cornwall's southern border, in the St. Lawrence River.
