Here is some helpful information on how you can ride a Cornwall Transit bus safely.
How to ride the bus safely
Please arrive to the bus stop early and have your fare ready. Remember, operators do not give change. If you have a smart card, please tap it at the card reader.
If you pay with cash; as soon as you board the bus, you must request a transfer ticket to transfer to another bus at downtown Pitt and Second terminal. Transfers are only valid for immediate use at Pitt and Second Terminal.
Step up toward the curb when the bus is approaching so that the operator can see you. Flagging or waving at the driver will also help in getting noticed.
For your safety, do not chase or run in front of or alongside the bus. If an operator sees you and can stop safely, they will try to do so.
For safety reasons, you cannot travel barefoot, wear skates or roller blades.
Remain seated or hold the handrail while the bus is in motion.
Before you exit the bus make sure you have all of your belongings.
Please exit by the rear doors. Do not walk in front of the bus, wait until it leaves.

Strollers/Buggies/Other bulky items
When the bus is full, please take your child out of the stroller. Please fold and hold the stroller securely in order to keep the aisle clear.
