The intersection of South Branch Road and McConnell Avenue will be completely rehabilitated with new curbs and asphalt

What to Expect During Construction

This work will include pulverizing the existing asphalt, adding additional granular and paving three lifts of new asphalt. The Contractor will also be removing the existing curbs and then replacing it with new ones.  A catch basin will be added to the north west side to improve drainage of the intersection

Road and Driveway Access

The City anticipates that a five day road closure will be needed to complete the work safely. Access to driveways may be impacted during the construction period; however, access will be restored as quickly as possible. Pedestrian access to all homes and businesses will be maintained during construction.
