Visitors are invited to drop by our Visitor Information Centre at the Cornwall Civic Complex - 100 Water Street East. Staff will be happy to answer any questions you might have, and point you in the right direction!
The Visitor Information centre is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Cornwall Tourism produces a number of documents that will help make your visit to Cornwall all the more rewarding. The Visitor Guide is a free resource that offers 70 pages of information on area attractions, accommodations, and activities along with an event calendar. Also available are maps of the city along with cycling map for the region. You call also pick up a copy of number of local magazines that provide interesting content. Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT)
The City of Cornwall has passed a by-law to implement a 4% Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT) on short-term accommodations in Cornwall effective June 1, 2018. Funds generated through the MAT will be invested in tourism development efforts in the City of Cornwall. For more information on the MAT, please click here.
Tourism Development Fund
A new Tourism Development Fund is in place to support efforts to grow tourism activity in the City of Cornwall. The fund will provide support for festivals and events (new or existing), businesses and/or tourism attractions or products that demonstrate an ability to attract a significant number of visitors to Cornwall. Application intake is continual. The fund is managed and overseen by the Tourism Development Corporation of Cornwall, an independent not-for-profit corporation with the exclusive purpose of developing and promoting Cornwall’s tourism sector.
