Asset Management Plan

The Asset Management Plan assists the City of Cornwall in making the best possible decisions regarding the building, operating, maintaining, renewing, replacing and disposing of infrastructure assets.

Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan

The over-arching goals of the Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan are to:

  • Create an environment that encourages people to cycle and walk more for work, school, and other trips,
  • Make cycling and walking a safe, comfortable and convenient alternative for everyone, young and old alike,
  • Reduce greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption, and
  • Support economic development and quality of life.

Emergency Response Plan

The Emergency Response Plan lays out the groundwork to react and meet the needs of potential emergencies when they happen. This plan guides local government, appropriate agencies, organizations and personnel to bring an emergency situation under control as quickly as possible.

Official Plan

The City of Cornwall's Official Plan sets out the city's general policies for future land use. It will create the framework for guiding land use in Cornwall for the next 20 years.

Recreation Master Plan

The City of Cornwall Recreation Master Plan is a strategic planning document that sets out the needs and priorities for recreation facilities; programs and activities; and parks and open space to the year 2020.

Strategic Plan

In February 2016, City Council adopted a new Strategic Plan to guide council and administration. Developed with input from community stakeholders and members of the public, the Strategic Plan contains a series of action items broken down into pillars: quality of life, economic & financial, environment, and governance & administration.
