RAI & Admissions Coordinator

The Glen Stor Dun Lodge, our Municipal long-term care home, is currently recruiting for a full time RAI & Admissions Coordinator (RPN). The Glen Stor Dun Lodge is a non-profit organization governed by the Long-Term Care Act of the Province of Ontario and falls under the jurisdiction of the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.

We are seeking a Bilingual (French & English) Registered Practical Nurse to take on the role of RAI & Admission Coordinator that has a current Ontario CNO license. This individual must have a post-secondary education in Gerontology or Management or three (3) years relevant long-term care experience. Must have received both doses of their Covid 19 vaccine and be able to provide proof of vaccination.

Reporting to the Director of Nursing, this individual will assess new admission referrals and provide recommendations to the Director of Care. Upon resident admission, they will review and sign nursing documentation with family.  They will ensure all nursing paperwork, assessments, care planning and assessments are completed and on file as per legislative requirement. They will supervise and assist in planning assignments for self, Health Care Aides, Attendants and delegates accordingly.

The City of Cornwall offers a competitive annual salary of $68,897 and comprehensive benefit package.
