The Glen Stor Dun Lodge, our Municipal long-term care home, is currently recruiting for Part Time Personal Support Workers (PSW). The Glen Stor Dun Lodge is a non-profit organization governed by the Long Term Care Act of the Province of Ontario and falls under the jurisdiction of the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care.

We are seeking qualified Personal Support Workers to provide personal care and services to residents at Glen Stor Dun Lodge. Reporting to the Director of Nursing and Registered Nursing Staff, the Personal Support Worker is responsible for providing exceptional resident care and delivering services with a considering for cultural, spiritual, social and restorative needs.

Our ideal candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills and will promote effective communication with residents, families, visitors, volunteers, students and fellow staff. Applicants are required to have successfully completed a personal support worker program that meets the requirements of the Long Term Care Act and have recent experience working with seniors and/or chronic care residents in a health care facility, will have received both doses of the Covid 19 vaccine Bilingualism (French & English) will be considered an asset.

Glen Stor Dun Lodge offers a competitive starting wage of $24.59 per hour.
