The City of Cornwall is seeking a Municipal Works Analyst. The Municipal Works Analyst is responsible for assisting the Municipal Works department with administrative responsibilities, including:

• The balancing, recording and submission of the departments petty cash, invoicing and credit card reconciliation
•  Developing and maintaining several databases and spreadsheets to be utilized as electronic preventative maintenance systems and record keeping mechanisms and asset management systems
• Assist with the complaints management system, geospatial software systems
•  Assist and replace  the Municipal Works dispatcher as required.
• Ensure compliance with finance policies
• Conduct various related clerical duties

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Post secondary certificate/diploma in Business Administration, Civil Engineering Technology/Technician or related field of study
•  Demonstrated relevant experience in database administration
• Demonstrated ability to provide administrative / clerical support using software applications including but not limited to: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Lotus Notes
• Effective attention to detail, time management and judgement skills
• Bilingualism (English and French) will be considered an asset

The City of Cornwall offers a starting salary of $28.24 per hour, 35 hours per week plus a comprehensive benefits package.
