Housekeeper – Glen Stor Dun Lodge

The Glen Stor Dun Lodge, our Municipal long-term care home, is currently recruiting for a part time Housekeeper. The Glen Stor Dun Lodge is a non-profit organization governed by the Long Term Care Act of the Province of Ontario and falls under the jurisdiction of the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care.

Our Housekeepers are responsible for assisting in the housekeeping program of the Home by maintaining set standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications: possess a Grade 12 Education; experience in institutional cleaning; the ability to organize work routines and execute those routines; knowledge of disinfection procedures; be able use many types of housekeeping equipment such as floor strippers etc.; must have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions; bilingualism will be considered and asset.

The Corporation of the City of Cornwall offers a competitive starting wage of $22.23 per hour.
