Chief Administrative Officer | ||||
The CAO is the highest ranked staff position in the Corporation, and is responsible for the overall management of the City of Cornwall's operations, programs, services and assets. Maureen Adams was appointed CAO in April 2016. Prior to that, Mrs. Adams served as the General Manager and Chief Financial Officer for the City, a key position that involves overseeing the annual City budget process, and ensuring the City maintains a strong financial position. Each department of the City has a manager, and these managers all report to the CAO. Her principal role is to work closely with his management group to plan and review all activities, issues and programs that impact municipal operations and the public good. Department of Financial Services/Treasurer | ||||
The Department of Financial Services is responsible to provide financial reporting systems, policies and procedures, services and support to other City departments and external entities in order to ensure the City's operations are effectively managed. Department of Infrastructure & Municipal Works | ||||
The City owns considerable property, generally referred to as infrastructure. This infrastructure includes many kilometers of roadways along with water and sewer lines. The Infrastructure and Municipal Works Division has the task of maintaining and regularly upgrading this diversified infrastructure. Cornwall Fire Services | ||||
The City of Cornwall Fire Department performs a number of services, all of which are designed to maximize the safety and quality of life for the residents of our community. The most obvious service traditionally associated with fire departments is the suppression of fires. While the Cornwall Fire Department has the trained personnel, equipment and experience to fulfill this mandate, we also provide the following services that truly make Cornwall a safer place to live, work and visit:

Paramedics Services | ||||
Cornwall SDG Paramedic Services provides 24-hour 365-day emergency coverage to the over 111,000 residents and visitors to our community. An integral component of the regional 911 system, Paramedics respond to victims of sudden illness or injury. Highly trained and skilled in the pre-hospital management of a wide spectrum of emergencies, Paramedics attempt to stabilize and render treatment to patients at the scene and on route to medical facilities. Glen Stor Dun Lodge | ||||
Glen Stor Dun Lodge is a non-profit long term care facility. It also offers outreach services. The Lodge building is a four-storey custom-designed structure with resident areas, galleries, dining rooms, activity areas and personal care areas. To learn more about the Lodge, please click here.
