The City of Cornwall has reached an agreement with the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) and Walmart Canada Corp. for the assessment value of two Cornwall distribution centres following an Assessment Review Board mediation session.

The replacement of the Leitch McLennan Drain Culvert at East Ridge Drive starts October 10, 2019 and is scheduled to be complete in November.   
Reductions to one lane of traffic on East Ridge Drive will occur throughout the project. The lane reduction is required for the culvert replacement, to accommodate the contractor's equipment and to ensure the safety of both workers and the public.

The contractor plans to closed Pitt Street overnight starting Tuesday, October 8 until Thursday, October 10, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. This will close access to motorists and pedestrians on Pitt Street at Highway 401.

Effective immediately, on-street vehicle parking without moving is now restricted to 24 hours.
Please note that this rule is in effect only where there are no other signs restricting parking to a particular period of time, and when overnight winter parking restrictions are not in effect.
