Starting July 19, Pitt Street will be closed nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
The closure is from South Brand Road to Tollgate, with local traffic continuing to have access to their homes and businesses.
R.W. Tomlinson is continuing to work on the Highway 401 overpass at Pitt Street.

autism kits webMayor Bernadette Clement and members of Cornwall Fire Services visited Rachel’s Kids House of Hope on July 8 to accept a donation of three autism kits.
The kits, also known as ASD emergency vehicle calming kits, will be used to comfort children with special needs. Rachel’s Kids staff designed the kits based on the favourites of the children who use their services.

medics webOn June 1, a six-year-old boy suffered an amputated foot due to a lawn mower incident in Chesterville.
Cornwall SDG Paramedics and Prescott-Russell Paramedics provided pre-hospital care until ORNGE air ambulance arrived and transported the child to CHEO.  The Grade 1 student has since left the hospital and returned to school.
