Outdoor Rinks for Winter 2020
The City of Cornwall is pleased to announce that dedicated volunteers will once again care for 10 outdoor rinks this winter.
The following rinks will be open once temperatures are low enough to allow for ice-making. Those with an asterisk (*) have lights in the park.
- Alexander Park* (Ninth St and Adolphus St)
- Dover Heights Park (Dover Rd and Robertson Ave)
- Grant Park (Kennedy Dr and Grant Ave)
- King George Park* (Seventh St and York St)
- Mattice Park (Edward St)
- Memorial Park (Bedford St and Third St)
- Menard Park (Concorde Ave)
- Optimist Park* (Sunnyside Ave and St. Michel Ave)
- Reg Campbell Park (Leitch Dr and Fraser Ave)
- Terry Fox Park (Mercier Ave and Ross Ave)
Hours of operation for rinks are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Outdoor lights are on from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Rink users are asked to respect signs indicating whether the ice is open or closed. Weather conditions may force the closure of rinks for short periods.
The City of Cornwall’s Parks and Landscaping Division has flooded the rinks for the first time, but rinks are not ready for use yet. Stay tuned!
