Tragic passing of homeless encampment resident

Unfortunately, an elderly woman living in the homeless encampment passed away this morning.

A 911 call was made at 8:52 a.m.  EMS, Fire and Police attended the scene; however, the individual was already deceased, and the exact time of death is unknown. While there is no confirmed cause of death at this time, alternate heating sources were found in the tent, and will be part of the continued Police investigate and postmortem.
