City of Cornwall Hosts 2nd Resident Café to Discuss 2025 Budget
The City of Cornwall is pleased to announce its 2nd Resident Café, an engaging opportunity for residents to learn about the 2025 budget and interact with various front-facing service departments. The event will take place on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, from 5 pm to 6 pm in the Salons at the Cornwall Civic Complex.
The Resident Café offers a platform for community members to gain insights into the city’s budgetary plans and to ask questions about the projects and initiatives slated for 2025. Representatives from multiple service departments will be present to discuss their respective projects and how they aim to enhance the quality of life in Cornwall.
Interim CAO Tracey Bailey expressed her enthusiasm for the event, stating, “We are thrilled to host our second Resident Café and provide a forum where residents can actively participate in discussions about our city's future. This event embodies our commitment to transparency and community engagement.”
All residents are welcome to attend, and we encourage everyone to take advantage of this unique opportunity to engage directly with city officials and contribute to the shaping of Cornwall's future.
Following the Resident Café, a Town Hall meeting will commence at 6:30 pm, providing an extended opportunity for in-depth discussions and direct feedback on the city's budgetary priorities. To register to speak at the Town Hall, please email mlevesque@cornwall.ca.
