Join us for Recycling 101

The City of Cornwall is pleased to offer recycling workshops for community residents.

Participants who complete the 25-minute workshop to which they registered will receive a free recycling bin.

WORKSHOP DATES:

  • Workshop is now full.  Sunday, September 15 at 1:30 p.m. (Cornwall Public Library upstairs)
  • Sunday, September 15 at 3 p.m. (Cornwall Public Library upstairs)
  • Workshop is now full.  Thursday, September 19 at 11 a.m. (MacEwen Room – Benson Centre)
  • Thursday, September 19 at 3 p.m. (MacEwen Room – Benson Centre)
  • Thursday, September 19 at 6 p.m. (MacEwen Room – Benson Centre)

What will I learn at this workshop?

  • Waste Management Supervisor Danielle Watson will walk residents through proper sorting of waste. Participants will learn about landfill recycling programs, Recycle Coach, and more.

What if I can’t attend these dates?

  • Attendance at each workshop is limited to 25 participants. If all five workshops fill up, additional dates will be offered.
  • Additional information will be made available online after the workshops for those who cannot attend.
  • Questions about recycling can always be directed to dwatson@cornwall.ca.

What if I already have a recycling bin?

  • An alternative item will be provided to participants who do not wish to receive a recycling bin. Residents may also choose to forgo an item altogether.
