Heat Warning

We are experiencing a significant heat wave in Cornwall. As temperatures rise, it’s essential to stay prepared and make necessary adjustments for your safety and comfort. The City of Cornwall is taking steps to assist residents during this period.

Our Splash Pads are open daily from 8am to 8pm:

Lamoureux Park: Located along Water Street in Downtown Cornwall.

Riverdale Park: Located at Dover Street and Riverdale Avenue.

The City’s four outdoor pools are open and operational. 

Visit Our Air-Conditioned Locations:

Civic Complex - 8:30-4:30 - Salon C at the Complex will be designated a cooling area for the week, Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm. 

The Civic Complex will also be open on Saturday for the washrooms & in the main concourse due to the pride festival.

Stay hydrated, avoid prolonged exposure to the sun, and check on vulnerable family members and neighbours.
