Hurry hard onto Cornwall Transit to enjoy the 2020 Ontario Curling Championships.

Transit will be offering free rides to residents attending the provincial championships, which runs from January 27th to February 2nd at the Cornwall Civic Complex. Eventgoers can ride for free any time of the day by simply showing their event ticket or informing the driver that they are going to the event!

“We want to make it as easy as possible for residents to see the world-class talent that will be on display at the curling championships,” said Len Tapp, Transit Division Manager. “It also provides an easy transportation option for residents who want to enjoy the curling and a drink or two in the ice-level ‘beer patch’.”

One of Ontario’s premier curling events, the 2020 Ontario Curling Championships will see the province’s top men’s and women’s teams battle it out for the right to represent Ontario at the 2020 Tim Hortons Brier and Scotties Tournament of Hearts.

Some of curling’s biggest names will be in attendance, including the No. 2 world-ranked John Epping and world champion Glenn Howard on the men’s side and Olympian and world champ Rachel Homan on the women’s side.

Tickets are now on sale with options for full event passes, final weekend passes and day passes. They can be purchased at www.CurlOnChamps.ca or the Civic Complex Box Office.
