August 21, 2024 – Cornwall and SDG are among the next stops on The Amazing Race Canada, in an episode which will air on Tuesday, August 27th at 9 p.m. ET on CTV.

The Amazing Race Canada is an award-winning and enduringly popular television show, now in its tenth season. The series combines the intensity of skills-based competition between teams with the delight of travel and adventure in some of the most idyllic and interesting locations in Canada.

Next week, the remaining six teams visit Cornwall and SDG for a variety of challenges in some familiar locales.

“We are delighted to welcome the racers to a region of the country that is steeped in natural beauty, history, and culture,” said Mayor Justin Towndale. “Attracting this unique and popular competition to our region will showcase to a national TV audience some of the highlights we locals love, and invite viewers from across Canada to come and spend time in our beautiful community.”

Hosted by Olympian Jon Montgomery, The Amazing Race Canada is at the halfway point in the season. What started as a race of 11 teams has now become a competition of six pairs competing for the grand prize of $250,000 cash payout, a trip for two around the world courtesy of Expedia, and two 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV RS vehicles.
