Easter Closures in the City of Cornwall
The upcoming Easter long weekend will mean that municipal offices will be closed on Friday, April 18 and Monday April 21. Essential services remain available throughout the weekend.
Cornwall Transit
Although Cornwall Transit buses won't be running on Friday, they will be in service on Monday. The Cornwall Transit offices will be closed on both Friday and Monday.
Waste Collection & Landfill Site
The Cornwall landfill will be closed on Friday, but open Saturday and Monday.
Friday’s waste collection will occur on Saturday, and Monday’s collection will continue as normal.
Cornwall Aquatic Centre
The Cornwall Aquatic Centre will be open on Good Friday (April 18) from 1:00 p.m. to 1:55 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 3:25 p.m. for leisure swims.
It will be open with regular hours on Saturday (April 19) and Easter Sunday (April 20), offering leisure swims from 1:00 p.m. to 1:55 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 3:25 p.m.
On Easter Monday (April 21), the Aquatic Centre will be open from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The Benson Centre and Cornwall Civic Complex will remain open as per regular hours.
The City encourages residents to plan and enjoy a safe, healthy, and relaxing Easter weekend with family and friends.
