Water Conservation Plan – it’s Time to Have your Say!

Posted On Tuesday May 25, 2021

The water conservation and servicing master plan survey is now open.

Before you give us your feedback, check out the water and wastewater bill calculator.

The calculator will help you explore what your bill might look like if water meters are installed in your home.

“Right now, your bill is based on how many water fixtures are in your home,” said Carl Goodwin, Environmental Services Division Manager. “With water meters, bills would be based on how much water is actually used.”

The City of Cornwall is considering lots of options for water conservation. Rebates and incentives could include:

  • Toilet rebate program
  • Home visits and water audits
  • Non-residential facility audits and rebates

Learn more about the options for the water conservation and servicing master plan by visiting our website.

“Council and I want to hear your thoughts,” said Mayor Bernadette Clement. “We read every comment and value your feedback. As we make decisions for our community, we’ll be considering recommendations from staff and consultants, resident feedback, and our strategic priorities.”

The survey is open online until Friday, June 25. If you need a paper copy of the survey, please call 613-930-2787 ext. 2157.
