The Glen Stor Dun Lodge is working together with City departments  to test emergency evacuation procedures and policies including the temporary emergency lodging of evacuated Glen Stor Dun Lodge residents during an emergency . Participating departments include Cornwall Social & Housing Services, Cornwall SDG Paramedic Services, Cornwall Fire Services, Cornwall Police Service, and Cornwall Transit.

Student volunteers from the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario will volunteer their time to act as resident simulators.
