Cornwall to Host 2027 Curling Ontario Men’s and Women’s Championships
The City of Cornwall is proud to announce that the 2027 Curling Ontario Men’s and Women’s Provincial Championships are coming to the Cornwall Civic Complex from January 10–17, 2027.
Co-hosted by the City of Cornwall and the Cornwall Curling Centre, this week-long event will bring Ontario’s top teams to our community. These championships will determine who represents our province at the prestigious Scotties Tournament of Hearts and the Montana’s Brier.
“We are proud to host the best that Ontario has to offer in curling as the Provincial Championships return to Cornwall,” said Mayor Justin Towndale. “On behalf of our residents, I look forward to welcoming the athletes, officials, and spectators to Cornwall, and I invite them to explore everything our community has to offer.”
Fans can expect high-stakes competition, community energy and outstanding on‑ice skill as Ontario’s top teams compete in a compact, exciting format that rewards season-long performance. The event will be a showcase both for in‑person attendees at the Cornwall Civic Complex and for viewers at home via our broadcast partners, including Cogeco’s yourTV.
The City of Cornwall has a long history of hosting major sporting events at the Civic Complex, and this championship continues our commitment to bringing high-level athletics to our residents.
In the coming weeks, more details will be shared regarding ticket details, volunteer opportunities, schedule updates, and special event announcements.
